Dear PeerCube user,

It has been over a year since we last sent you an update on the status of PeerCube. In the past year, we have grown a lot, all thanks to suggestions and feedback from engaged users like you. Due to your active participation, over 900 lending strategies have been developed and more than 125,000 notes are in Peer Portfolios worth almost $9 million on PeerCube. It is our pleasure that we are able to provide the platform and services for both individuals and institutions peer-to-peer lenders.

Portfolio Analysis

In the past one year, we have implemented quite a few new features, which some of you may not be aware of. In this newsletter, we would like to highlight one of the new features that you may find valuable. Some users are already using Portfolio Analysis feature, but we thought it is a good idea to officially introduce the feature in this newsletter. You can review performance of your portfolio in various ways. We also provide comparison of your portfolio yield with yield of other PeerCube users as benchmark. Our favorite capabilities that portfolio analysis provides are:

  • Consolidated view of up to five Lending Club accounts. For example, you may have one taxable account and another IRA account with Lending Club. You can consolidate both accounts and review the overall analysis.
  • Portfolio analysis by variety of attributes such as Vintage, Portfolio Names, FICO Trend, Loan Status, Credit Grade, Home Ownership, Income Verification, etc.
How to Get Started?

It is very easy to get started with analyzing your portfolio using PeerCube tools. Just follow the step-by-step instructions listed on PeerCube Upload Notes page to download your portfolio from Lending Club and upload to PeerCube.

Bonus Features

We also introduced couple of exclusive features for those PeerCube users who are actively supporting our operations through donations. Here's a glimpse of these bonus features:

  • Notes at FICO Risk: Identification of the notes in your portfolio that are at risk due to drop in FICO score. This feature resulted from our ongoing project work on loan valuations. We shared some of our findings through our blog post FICO Score Trends and Defaults for Lending Club Loans.
  • Notes Previously Late: Identification of the notes in your portfolio that may be risky as these were late in making payments in the past. This feature was requested by a very active PeerCube user and big supporter.

Security Alert

As most of you may have heard in the media about a major security vulnerability on the Web, commonly referred as Heartbleed Bug (CVE-2014-0346). Rest assured that we have upgraded our systems to latest patched version of OpenSSL that has fix for this vulnerability. We do not store your Lending Club and Prosper credentials on PeerCube systems. If you use the same password to authenticate to PeerCube as to some of your other critical sites, such as online banking, we recommend that you change your password.
